Engineering

    • The Environmental Impact Studies to obtain, with the assistance of GWC, the necessary official permits and authorizations to build the systems.
    • The detailed design (construction drawings) of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
    • The detailed design (construction drawings) of the treated water main and the trunk main to Pokuase.

 

  • Technical Assistance
    • Water audit in Nsawam in order to propose measures to reduce Non-Revenue Water (NRW)
    • Training of GWC staff (operation of the installations and GIS)

 

  • Construction and installation of the station and fitting equipment
    • Raw water intake
    • Raw water pumping station
    • Dosing and mixing systems
    • Aerator
    • Circular clarifiers
    • Sand filters (Aquazur type)
    • Clearwater & backwash pumping stations
    • Connection to the power grid.

 

  • 12 months of operation assistance during the warranty period equipment
  • Laying of HDPE OD 400 SDR11 pipes: 6,600m from the treatment plant to the existing treated tank
  • Laying of HDPE OD 315 SDR 17 pipes: 12,700m from the existing treated water tank to Pokuase in order to feed 7 new localities.
